Here in Florida, we’re known as a major swing state in federal elections, and your voice could be the difference between seeing Republican Donald Trump or Democrat Hillary Clinton in the White House! How to register to vote in Brevard County FL

Generally, you’re already registered to vote if you have a Florida driver’s license and address on file with the U.S. Postal Service. If you’d like to see if you’re already registered, click here and you can find out in a few seconds! If you aren’t, there are a couple of ways you can register yourself quickly:

  • The Brevard County website includes a helpful online form to help you get registered to vote!
  • You can also register to vote in person at these offices. Be advised, however, that if you’re a first time voter in Florida, you’ll need to provide additional proof of residency (such as a utility bill or passport) to verify your identity and get fully registered.

If you’ll be in the area come Election Day on November 8, you can follow this link to check out your precinct number and where you can vote! However, if you’ll be out of town, fear not! You can always submit your vote via absentee ballot. All you have to do is follow the link to the “Vote-by-Mail” ballot form, and one will be sent to you. Of course, you can also vote beforehand at a county office, but if you do decide to submit your ballot via mail, make sure it gets to the office before Election Day has passed!
