The 2023 Nissan Altima is a perfectly well-suited family sedan with attractive styling and a spacious interior, and it is available in all-wheel drive. The Altima has two four-cylinder engines to choose from: a base engine with 182 hp or a turbocharged variable-compression unit with 248 hp.

The 2023 Nissan Altima, on the other hand, is impressively fuel efficient, with 39 MPG on the highway. This sedan is simply awesome, thanks to its spacious interior, comfortable seating, optional 12.3-inch infotainment screen, and solid standard safety features.

What’s New in the 2023 Nissan Altima?

Nissan refreshes the Altima for 2023 with new wheels, a redesigned front with new LED headlights, and a new logo. There are also two new paint colors: Grey Sky Pearl and Garnett Pearl Metallic.

The interior of the Altima receives a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, which is standard on SL and SR models but optional on SV. Nissan’s Safety Shield 360 driver-assistance technology now includes more standard safety features. Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, rear automatic braking, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and high-beam assist are among them.

The Performance of the 2023 Nissan Altima

The Altima comes standard with a 188-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT). With premium fuel, the optional turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder produces up to 248 horsepower and employs a CVT. Nissan promotes its novel variable-compression technology.

Besides the 2.5-liter engine is available with all-wheel drive. The VC-turbo engine accelerates the 2023 Nissan Altima significantly. The Altima SR gets a sport-tuned suspension and 19-inch wheels, which make it more fun to drive on twisty roads. Its steering system is precise by family-sedan standards and does not require extra effort. The Altima’s brake pedal provides good linear feedback and responds quickly to driver input.
